The New York State Independence Party is seeking candidates for the 2009 City Council and Borough President Races.  

 

If you are enrolled in another political party, we welcome your candidacy as a cross-endorsement also known as a Wilson-Pakula certificate under section 6-120 of the New York State Election Law.

 

We will be conducting screenings  at our College Point Headquarters only.

 

Enclosed is a copy of our Official Independence Party 2009 Candidate Screening Questionnaire which should be completed by you, and then brought by you to your candidate screening.

 

We seek candidates that understand, support and believe in the good government and political reform platform of our party.
